Oh how I love a good statement top! There is just something about a great, detailed top that can instantly dress up anything you decide to pair it with. I love teaming long sleeve statement tops with a skirt or even a pair of denim jeans… Whatever you choose, it’ll always come together nicely.
Frills and flares are my favourite type of detailing this month and you’ve probably seen it everywhere – it’s popular this season in knits and jumpers, and I’m seeing a lot of frilled detailing on the bottom of flared pants too.
When this sort of detailing on tops start from the elbow down, it will flatter anybody’s arms. The reason for this is because it will draw attention to the details and your hands, not your upper arms, and every single time you move whether it be to brush your beautiful hair out of your face or to lean down and fix your shoes, people will be looking at the stunning sleeves. Sometimes if the frills start from the shoulder all the way down to the wrists, you’ll find that you lose a bit of shape and your arms can appear much larger than they are! And we don’t want that.
If you’re not a statement top kind of gal, try some high waisted pants that either really flare out or have slight frilling to them. They will make your pins look super long and have people thinking you’ve got legs for days!

First of all, I want to introduce a beautiful label to you all called GLAMAZON THE LABEL If you haven’t already heard about them, they are an Australian owned label designed exclusively out of Perth, Western Australia! The label is exclusive to Live Clothing and they design beautiful, glamorous pieces that don’t hurt your wallet!
I have fallen in love with many pieces of theirs, however, this micro pleat bodysuit and short set have got to be my favourites from the label to date! The photos, as I’m sure, will show you exactly why. The micro pleat detailing is just divine and really glams up what would be a plain black outfit, the plunging neckline is just enough to show a bit of skin but not too much… Because we like to keep it classy! Then of course, being able to cover up your arms and show a little leg? Perfect for an evening out even if it’s a little cold outside.
It’s a Tuesday as I write this and it’s officially become an office day for me… Well, a home-office day. I know that may sound boring to some but for me, I could not be more excited! A day where I sit at my beautiful makeup vanity (because I prefer to sit here then at an actual computer desk!), go through photos from the weekend that my handsome other half takes for my blog and well, I plan out my posts! I make a coffee every morning, have a nice hot shower and put on a face mask in prep to get ready for a big day of writing. I definitely get distracted at times but Tuesdays have become my favourite day of the week because it’s the day I get the week organised. Of course I didn’t choose Monday… Because nobody likes Mondays!

The off-the-shoulder look was always coming in and out of fashion and I feel as though it has now become a wardrobe staple rather than just a trend. I have collected so many off-the-shoulder tops, dresses, and even a few jackets over the years! I believe this stunning style shows off a little bit of skin in the classiest way possible!
It’s effortlessly chic when you style these shoulder-bearing tops with super high waisted pants because if you’re like me and you are not genetically blessed with super model pins, you’ll appreciate the higher waist because they can make you appear taller and like they say, just fake it till’ you make it, right!? I wore my stunning Delphine The Label top with these beautiful cream high waisted pants from Pretty Little Thing. However, being such a versatile style, you can tuck these styles of tops into a beautiful pleated skirt or team it with denim and ankle boots for a more casual-chic look.
The details in Delphine’s off-the-shoulder top is beautiful because it folds over a lot lower than most styles that are similar, which means you don’t find yourself pulling it up and adjusting so often. The fabric is thicker to keep you warmer this season and there’s two buttons on one arm that add a little detail, which dresses up what would be a very basic black top.
If you’re already all over this trend and you’ve got more off-the-shoulder tops than you can count… Then make sure you check out the rest of Delphine The Label’s ARTHROPODA A/W Collection. There are many more off-the-shoulder tops, jackets, dresses and many other beautiful styles to keep you looking stylish and warm at the same time.

Prints are a great thing to add to your wardrobe because there are certain prints that just never seem to go out of fashion! The stripe, the polka dot and the floral print just to name a few. However, lately, I have seen so much of the gingham print and it’s made a huge comeback in all fashion forms!
I shot with Alia Boutique a few weeks ago and they put me in this Lioness Gingham Wrap Top which I instantly fell in love with. The big dramatic balloon sleeves, the off the shoulder detail and adjustable waist tie… It’s such a statement piece for your wardrobe and because of the adjustable wrap style, you can wear it a few different ways.
Be sure to check out Alia Boutique because they have the latest prints and styles to keep you fashion forward! If you want to check out how I styled my favourite print of the season, keep reading!

So I wanted to introduce to you all, one of my favourite labels that I have been working with, Delphine The Label. I discovered the label early last year and have been in love with every collection they’ve brought out ever since. Originating from Melbourne (where else!) they are your go-to label if you are after pieces you can wear to work and then take straight to dinner with the ladies. Nothing but class, with a touch of sexy and unique. Their designs are incredible and you must check them out here.
There was just something about the combination of this beautiful white set from Delphine The Labels’ sweet like me collection, my new favourite bag, red lipstick with touches of gold jewellery that made me feel so empowered when wearing it, like as if I was the most poised and elegant version of myself that day. The feeling of ultimate girl boss.
I feel like there are a lot of people out there still worried to wear the shade white but I promise you, if it’s a shade you don’t normally go near – you should. It’s super flattering and as long as you’re not going near a glass of red wine on that particular night then you will be absolutely fine. Start with investing in a white co-ord/two piece set like this one from Delphine. The reason for this is because you can do so much more than just wear them together as a set. Don a more casual look by teaming your favourite basics with the skirt or pair your favourite jeans with the crop. Easy!

Hello loves! Welcome to my first beauty post! So I have been getting a lot of questions about my makeup recently and in particular, it’s generally questions about my foundation. I love being able to talk about my favourite products and recommend options for people who are still looking for the right makeup or just want something new to try.
I have been through so many jars, tubs and tubes of foundation since I bought my very first Maybelline one in 2008. Over the years, I have tried and tested a handful and didn’t feel the need to repurchase some however I have collected many favourites. Foundations, tinted moisturisers, BB creams, CC creams… The choices are never ending but I have found myself 6 absolute cannot-live-without products that I keep stocked up on at all times.
Please understand that everybody has different skin types and these reviews are based on my normal-combination skin type. I get oily throughout the day in my t-zone area and the rest of my face tends to stay very normal. So below are all my favourite complexion products right now if you guys want to continue reading!

Throughout the seasons no matter how warm or cold, I am always finding myself in a somewhat black attire. My wardrobe is kind of colour coordinated and there is only a small section on the right hand side where I collect a little colour… The entire two door built in is just shades of black, grey, white and a few prints here and there.
Since last autumn/fall there have been hints of burgundy, plum, scarlet, red and anything that looks like the lovely colour of red wine everywhere. I have seen it make a come back in leather goods by major designer brands and if you were lucky enough to watch any of the runway shows from last years 4 big fashion weeks in NY, LONDON, MILAN or PARIS then you would have seen hints of the colours everywhere. From beautiful bold coats, to luxurious leather goods like boots and bags I was falling more and more in love with the colour every time I saw it.
However, because I am still learning to add colour to my wardrobe I decided to start with some everyday basics that I could absolutely wear again and again in those beautiful burgundy, plum and scarlet colours!
My favourite piece at the moment is this long sleeve bodysuit from Glamazon the Label and believe me, I have worn it more times than I can count!! Because it is a bodysuit and we have currently gone from spring to autumn here in Bris, it’s perfect for the transition.
